WELCOME, BOBCAT MUSICIANS!
The Galloway Ridge Intermediate School Music Program features three different musical groups commonly referred to as "BCS" for band, choir, and strings. Details about each of these groups can be found by clicking the links at the top right-hand corner of this website. Mobile users should use the drop-down menu in the top left corner.
Participating in one or more of these groups provides a unique opportunity for sixth grade students to try something new and to experience personal and musical growth!
Students will meet 2-3 times a week during the intervention portion of their school day. No instructional time is missed when a student is in a music class. Students can select one class (instrument OR singing) or enroll in two classes (one instrument AND singing).
There are no after school requirements other than two concerts, one in the winter and one in May. Dates for these are published below.
