Thanks for taking a minute to get to know a little more about me. The 2022-2023 school year will be my twelfth at GCHS. Prior to Grove City, I taught Social Studies at St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus and then at Westland High School. This will be my 22nd year overall (wow), my 18th teaching American History and seventh teaching AP US Government and Politics.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from THE Ohio State University. I went on to Ashland University and completed their Teaching Licensure Program. I then later received my Master of Education Degree from Ashland, with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction.
Outside of school, I've been high school football coach for 21 years. Aside from my family, it is definitely my biggest hobby. My most recent hobbies include exercise and learning (reading) about many different things.
I live in the Galloway area with my wife Tina and our children, Carson, Caiti, Camilla and Colvin.
I love teaching at Grove City! Every year I am so appreciative of the students I get to work with on a daily basis. Looking forward to another one!
