The Hays County SWCD, organized on May 24, 1985, is a local unit of government established under state law to carry out conservation programs at the local level. Our District works with Hays County landowners to help them manage and protect land and water resources. The Hays County SWCD is comprised of approximately 434,214 acres. We are partners with you in conservation of our natural resources. All conservation programs are voluntary.
