Faculty will receive a CCAP Introductory email prior to the beginning of the semester, introducing you to your H.S. partners and outlining importance course information, including school address and check-in instructions/support.
Last day to drop without a W & Census Date and last day to drop with a W below:
Students who wish to drop the class without a W must do so before the deadline and must communicate with the Professor and the H.S. CCAP contact. The Professor can do drops via Self-Service. Please note students cannot drop themselves from a class.
Faculty - please communicate with your H.S CCAP contact if you will drop a student, as the student will be assigned a new class by their Counselor.
Final Registration Deadline: Students must complete the CCAP process by Census day to be registered in the class.
Students cannot be legally registered into classes after Census Day, which means they cannot remain in the class.

Class Registration:
We are currently working with our High School partners to help their students complete the CCAP process to be officially registered in the class. Faculty, please do not worry if you cannot see all your students on WebAdvisor. Once registered, students will have access to Canvas within 24 hours.
Canvas Access:
Faculty will receive Canvas access once assigned to a class. For Canvas questions and support, please contact Online Learning at onlinelearning@swccd.edu or call (619) 482-6595.
Class Roster:
Faculty - you will be given access to the course CCAP tracking sheet via the introductory email, feel free to use it as a class roster in the meantime. Please note that your class can only have the students marked as "cleared" on both the Application and CCAP Agreement columns on the CCAP roster link. If a student is not on the list, they cannot be part of the course. As a reminder - students who are part of the CCAP program are added by their H.S Counselor and must complete the CCAP process by the deadline. Once complete, the Outreach team registers them in the course.
Textbooks:
SUHSD has created a textbook list in collaboration with SWC. Faculty, please reference this list when preparing your class material. Please let our SWC Faculty if you prefer to use free online course materials. SWC Faculty teaching at a Charter School - please communicate with your contact if you would like to request that students use a specific book, or if you prefer to use free online course materials.
Academic Calendar:
Our CCAP classes are scheduled around the Southwestern College academic calendar and the partner High School academic calendar. Please note that since we work with both academic calendars, you may have additional days off, then those outlined in the SWC Academic calendar. Please review your introductory email as it outlines your days off.
Absences:
If you cannot report to your teaching assignment, please let your H.S contact, Dean/Director, and CCAP Office know immediately. The course schedule was approved by each Dean/Department and cannot be altered. Any changes need to be approved by the Dean and must be communicated to the CCAP Office and H.S liaison.
CCAP Orientation:
Each semester the Director of Outreach & Dual Enrollment hosts a California College & Career Access Pathways (CCAP) Faculty & Partner's Orientation. This Orientation covers the CCAP program, student requirements, timelines, class schedules, and student resources. This session also allows you to connect with your site contacts.
