Curriculum overview

We want every Borlase student to love learning Science.

In KS3 you will study topics in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will develop knowledge that builds on the science you learnt in primary school and prepares you for all the science you will learn in the future. Students will also be introduced to how the knowledge and skills they are learning are used in a real-world context and in Science-related careers

You will also spend lots of time learning how to work scientifically, with lots of practical work that promotes investigation and independent inquiry. 

Please note, we are currently going through a process of updating our curriculum structure for KS3 Science. This means that the Year 7 topics are in a new format and order this year.
