Key Stage 3

Our Key Stage 3 Curriculum

Our Key Stage 3 Drama curriculum is based on learning the foundations of Drama as a subject. As well as practically exploring exciting traditional Drama such as Greek Theatre and Melodrama, students also study more contemporary schemes of work such as devising around the London Riots and exploring Physical Theatre. This allows students to imaginatively explore a range of social and cultural issues through the studying and creation of their own Drama, as well as building confidence in performance and building valuable life skills, such as teamwork and collaboration.  

Recently, our Key Stage 3 students had an exciting opportunity to work with practitioners from the professional theatre companies Frantic Assembly and Splendid Productions in an enjoyable day of Drama Workshops.
