Trips and visits
The Art department organises trips and visits in support of the curriculum. GCSE and A level students particularly use visits to galleries and museums to find inspiration for their own work.
Other extracurricular opportunities include
The department runs daily lunchtime extra sessions. Mondays are particularly focused on years 11 and 13, Tuesdays are for other examination groups and the other days are open to all key stages.
Further to the normal school day there is also an opportunity for an after school art session on Mondays.
And finally, there is also a weekly: Junior Art Club, Fashion Society, Architecture and Interior Design Society, plus a Senior Interactive Art Society.
