Presentation from 10/9/25 where counselors welcomed our 9th grade parents and families, and provided information about SHS as well as our role in supporting our students.

Counselors met in small groups with 9th graders on November 21-22, 2024 to talk about our role as school counselors, information about graduation requirements and credits, and we helped students begin to plan out their four-year path at SHS. Students joined their class' Counseling Google Classroom and joined Scoir, our new college and career planning tool. In Scoir, students began their resume, and took a career interest inventory which matches them with careers that might suit their strengths and interests.
