Hola! 

My name is Mrs. Gotch, and I am very excited to be returning to Swampscott Middle for another year! Even after 20 years of teaching, I still love it! My love for the Spanish language started when I was very young and dreamed about being able to travel, especially to Spain! After years of learning Spanish in school, I went on to further my understanding attending Penn State where I majored in Spanish and had the opportunity to live abroad for the year in Spain. That experienced change me forever!  I knew I wanted to help others learn Spanish so that they could travel to beautiful places too and to speak and learn from others in their communities and in the world. 

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family/ friends, scuba diving and traveling. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to over 30 countries! Let me know if you have places you love and recommend in the world :-)!
