Phonics

We use the Read Write Inc scheme resources as a basis for our phonics lessons. Here is a sample phonics lesson to show you how lively and engaging learning phonics can be.

Take a look at an example home learning activity for maths - practical ways to engage children in developing a sense of number is an essential part of our teaching day and can also be supported by a range of fun activities at home.

Story Time

Throughout our school reading and listening to stories is an integral and enjoyable part of the school day. Watch this video to listen to one of our favourite stories.

Sharing a story together whether that be listening to it or reading it is a wonderful way to support your child's early learning. There are lots of stories online and plenty of bookshops and places you can order real books from to share with your children too.
