Hello,
My name is Mrs Strachan, I am going to be your teacher in Emerald Class. We are going to have so much fun!
Here's a little bit about me ……I Have been teaching at Westlands Primary School for 8 years and am excited for this upcoming 9th year with you all!
I love to teach everything and will teach it anywhere I can; inside, outside, messy play with an active approach to learning. We have a beautiful garden and this is where we will spend a lot of our time, reading stories, den building and exploring the world.
When I am not at school I like to play games with my dog Twiggy! She is a 1 year old border collie and she is a very clever girl, she loves learning with her friends at dog school. She also likes to check in with the children at Westlands to see what they are learning!
I am active in my free time with lots of fitness like road running events and muddy obstacle courses . I also like to read, cook and get messy with my son at our forest school where we learn lots of new skills and make memories together.

Hello everyone,
My name is Miss Rayner I would like to share some information about myself. I have taught at Westlands Primary School for 4 years.
My favourite colour is pink, I enjoy arts and crafts and I like going to the cinema in my spare time! I have recently found a love for painting by numbers and have been very pleased with the end results! My favourite food is barbecue pizza which is my treat to myself!
My favourite part of the school day (apart from lunch time when I get to eat all my yummy food) is Maths. I enjoy Maths because learning about numbers can be fun and is also very helpful in a lot of things that we do every day. I also enjoy collage making as it allows me to show my creative side!
I love story telling and cannot wait to share some of my favourite stories with you! I am very excited to meet you all soon.
