SWA would like to extend a heartfelt congratulation to the Class of 2025, who overcame every challenge and triumphantly turned their tassels during a joyful morning-to-afternoon graduation ceremony on Wednesday, 28 May 2025. SWA is proud of all Macans who have grown, transformed, and endured high school with resilience and determination—qualities that have brought them to the threshold of an exciting new chapter, one filled with endless possibilities.
The ceremony was filled with meaningful moments that reflected the strength of SWA's school community. A particularly moving highlight was the graduates’ performance of “You'll Be in My Heart”—a heartfelt tribute to their parents, expressing gratitude for their unwavering love and support. It served as a poignant reminder of the enduring bond between families and the school.
In a symbolic gesture of growth and legacy, the Class of 2025 also planted a tree in the Peace Park—an act that commemorates their graduation while leaving a living reminder of their presence for future generations of Macans to enjoy.
Congratulations, Macans! Though you may have graduated, you will always remain in our hearts.
Once a Macan, always a Macan.

ES & MSHS Sports Day
Written by Mr. Sean
SWA came alive with energy and school spirit during its annual Sports Day, held on Thursday, 5 June 2025. The full-day event brought together students, teachers, and staff for a dynamic celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and house pride.
All four school houses — Elang, Komodo, Paus, and Gajah — participated in a packed schedule of sports and games, turning the campus into a lively arena of competition and camaraderie.
The day featured a mix of traditional and modern sports. Track and field and swimming events tested students’ speed and endurance, while football and volleyball matches showcased skill and coordination. The badminton competition was fierce, with fast-paced rallies and impressive smashes. Adding a modern twist, e-sports tournaments brought gaming enthusiasts into the spotlight, proving that competitive spirit comes in many forms.
Beyond the main sporting events, students also enjoyed light-hearted team games designed for fun and bonding. The water relay race stood out as a student favourite, drawing cheers and laughter as students raced to fill their team’s bottle using cups of water — often soaking wet by the end.
Competition was fierce but friendly throughout the day. Komodo House dominated the scoreboard, emerging as the overall Sports Day champion with consistent wins across multiple categories. Their blend of athletic skill and teamwork paid off, earning them the top honour for the event.
However, it was Elang House that clinched the coveted trophy for the 2024–2025 academic year. Their combined performance across house events throughout the year secured their place at the top, giving their members a moment of pride as they celebrated their yearlong achievement.
The event wrapped up with a closing ceremony and the official trophy handover, leaving students buzzing with pride and school spirit. For many, the day was more than just about winning — it was about unity, effort, and creating memories.
SWA once again proved that sports aren’t just about competition — they’re about bringing people together.
Sinarmas World Academy Shows Empathy and Care through CSR Program for the Gojek Community
Written by Ms. Evi
On Thursday, 12 June 2025, SWA once again demonstrated its strong commitment to social responsibility and community care by holding a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event. The initiative aimed to support and appreciate the contributions of Gojek partners—especially those who are parents—by inviting them to the school and presenting them with book donations for their children.
This heartfelt event was attended by representatives from the South Tangerang local government, including an official representative from the mayor’s office and the Department of Education. The school extended a warm welcome to these guests, showing its dedication to fostering strong ties with the local authorities and community.
One of the highlights of the programme was the symbolic handover of notebooks and Qur’ans to the mayor’s representative, symbolising not only material support but also SWA’s empathy toward the spiritual and educational well-being of the community.
Students and parents of SWA also took part in the event, with student representatives from both elementary and middle schools actively participating in the symbolic donation of notebooks to Gojek partners. This interaction between students and beneficiaries served as a valuable lesson in empathy, kindness, and the importance of giving back.
