Beep, beep! Off we went on a fun supermarket adventure to Ranch Market BSD! Our Nursery students were excited to explore the store and discover colourful fruits, crunchy vegetables, and lots of interesting everyday items.
The children happily pointed at foods they recognised and chatted excitedly about healthy choices. They loved pretending to be real shoppers as they carefully picked items, placed them into plastic bags, and explored the fresh produce section filled with different colours, shapes, and sizes. One of the most exciting moments was weighing the items and lining up at the cashier just like grown-ups! The children proudly carried their heavy plastic bags with all their might, showing big smiles and strong muscles along the way!
Throughout the trip, our little learners showed wonderful listening skills, independence, and excitement while learning outside the classroom. We are so proud of their curiosity, confidence, and excellent behaviour during this unforgettable adventure!

Giggles, smiles, and excitement filled the classroom as the children welcomed dr. Arini Firmansyah for our Occupations Around Us topic! Through fun slides, cheerful songs, and real medical tools, the children discovered the important roles of doctors, nurses, and dentists in helping people stay healthy and strong.
The most exciting moment was the reflex demonstration, where the children burst into laughter and amazement as a knee moved naturally when tapped with a special medical tool. The children also enjoyed practising healthy habits by using hand sanitiser independently and learning the correct way to brush their teeth with a large dental model.
Throughout the visit, the children listened attentively, answered questions confidently, and showed wonderful curiosity about the medical world. We sincerely thank dr. Arini Firmansyah for creating such a joyful and meaningful learning experience that encouraged the children to care for their health and appreciate healthcare professionals.

The K1 students had an unforgettable adventure during their field trip to House of Bread on 13 May 2026! The day was filled with excitement, laughter, and hands-on fun.
The students explored the hydroponics greenhouse and happily harvested different kinds of spinach. They were amazed to see how the vegetables grew so fresh and healthy.
The most exciting part of the trip was catching baby ikan nila! The students splashed, laughed, and eagerly chased the tiny fish around the pond. Many of them were determined to catch more than one fish. With great patience, they carefully followed the fish and slowly scooped them up using their hands and nets.
Playing with the water while working together made the activity extra enjoyable. It was a joyful day full of learning, teamwork, and wonderful memories for all the K1 students!

The Kindergarten 2 students became storytellers, poets, and confident readers! We explored simple recount writing by sharing holiday experiences and writing about what happened during our school breaks. The children also drew fun picture strips in their mini “camera” to match their stories.
In poetry lessons, we continued learning about rhyming words and used them to create simple poems about our families and places we love to visit again. The students showed wonderful creativity and imagination in their writing.
Reading time was full of fun and teamwork as the children enjoyed reading stories with their friends, discovering new words, and becoming little reading detectives by answering questions about the stories they explored together!
We are proud of the K2s for growing into more expressive writers, thoughtful readers, and confident communicators this term!

The semester exams only started last week, but Grade 1 students have been learning to prepare themselves for the exams for a few weeks. They learned that preparing for the exams needs proper strategies to help them have better self-management skills both mentally and physically.
Grade 1 students learned important strategies such as reading and taking notes, creating a study schedule, preparing their own stationery, and practising healthy habits. Practising to set priorities on their daily activities was also a part of their exams preparation.
It is important to teach students as early as possible to develop self-management skills. Practising those skills consistently will benefit students in dealing with more challenges in the future. Through developing self-management skills, students also strengthen their emotional regulations and better skills for solving problems.

The Grade 2 students had an exciting and educational field trip to IndoFarm Hatchery in Banten. During the visit, the students learned how eggs are produced on a factory scale and how modern hatchery systems work.
The children were able to see the different stages of egg production, from collecting and sorting eggs to the incubation process. They also learned about how farmers take care of chickens to ensure healthy egg production. The guides at the hatchery explained the importance of cleanliness, proper feeding, and technology in large-scale farming.
The students enjoyed observing the machines and equipment used in the factory. They were very curious and asked many interesting questions throughout the tour. This field trip gave the students a better understanding of where eggs come from and how food production works in everyday life.
Overall, the trip to IndoFarm Hatchery was both fun and informative. It was a valuable learning experience that helped the students connect classroom lessons with real-life farming practices.

Grade 3 students enjoyed learning about the structure of the Earth by creating and exploring models of its layers. This hands-on activity helped them better understand what is inside our planet.
They also recently completed a practical test on light and shadows, in which they explored how shadows form and how light affects their size and position. Through fun activities and experiments, students applied their learning while building observation and thinking skills.

Exploring Indonesia Through Traditional Food 🍽️🇮🇩
Grade 4 Indonesian Language students recently embarked on an exciting journey to discover the rich diversity of Indonesian traditional food. Through a research-based project, students explored a variety of main dishes and traditional snacks from different regions across Indonesia, learning not only about the food itself but also the culture behind it.
Working collaboratively in groups, students researched their assigned dishes, identified the ingredients and cooking materials needed, and wrote simple recipes in Indonesian. They then transformed their findings into colourful A3 posters, carefully illustrating their chosen foods and presenting key information in a creative and organised way. Throughout the process, students practised their reading, writing, and research skills while expanding their Indonesian vocabulary related to food, cooking, and regional culture.
This engaging project allowed students to strengthen their Indonesian language skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for Indonesia’s culinary heritage. It was wonderful to see them learning about the nation’s diverse cultures through one of its most beloved traditions, food!

This week in Grade 5 PE, the students took part in invasion and tagging games such as Gold Rush and 2 Ball, where strategy, teamwork, and quick decision-making became just as important as movement skills. Throughout the games, the students worked together to protect space, communicate with teammates, and create strategies to outplay the opposing team. It was wonderful to observe how engaged and competitive the students became while still showing sportsmanship and respect for one another.
The experience was filled with energy, laughter, and moments of creative thinking as students adjusted their plans and responded to different game situations. Many students demonstrated growing confidence in leading their teams, supporting classmates, and thinking ahead during play. Beyond the physical activity, these games encouraged collaboration, resilience, and problem-solving in a fun and active environment. It has been rewarding to see the class enjoy the challenge while continuing to grow together through PE.
