Caring Community Campaign: “Good Manner, Great People”
Being kind and polite is not just following rules. It is about raising children who make everyone smile. Teaching good manners can be as simple as saying “Thank you” when a security guard opens a door for us or saying “I’m sorry” when we spill water on someone accidentally.
When children see their behaviours brighten someone’s day, such as helping Mommy clean up the dining table, or becoming a buddy for a new friend at school, they will realise that helping someone is actually fun and joyful. Remember parents, your children are learning from you, so let’s show them that being well-mannered can bring opportunities for them to be someone’s hero!
