Bethany Zeranski, MS, Licensed School Counselor: zeranski_bethany@svvsd.org

Bethany coordinates the school counseling program which covers three domains: Academic, Social/Emotional, and College/Career. All students receive school counseling services through Tier 1 supports including monthly classroom lessons. Bethany is also available to support students as they arise in the classroom or if there are life events that come up that are affecting students learning during the school day (grief/loss, family stressors, social/academic challenges). She also consults with teachers to better support all students in the classroom and is available to meet with parents about academic or social/emotional concerns. Bethany is available Monday and Friday from 8:30-4:00, and Wednesday morning from 8:30-11:30. Please allow 48 hours to return emails and phone calls.

Here is a helpful document that explains the importance of the school counseling program from The American School Counseling Association: The Essential Role of Elementary School Counselors.
