The Battalion Command Sergeant Major is responsible for leading the Honor Guard as well as counseling, training, and supervising the First Sergeants. The Command Sergeant Major also the senior non-commissioned adviser to the Battalion Commander. 

The Operations Sergeant Major is the assistant of the Command Sergeant Major and S-3.  They are responsible for managing the leadership schools, training and are in charge for planning the physical fitness for every week.
