I am originally from Ohio, but have lived in Sierra Vista long enough that I call it home. I grew up as an Army dependent and moved to Ft. Huachuca when I was 8 years old and lived here for most of my childhood years. I graduated from Buena High School in 1993. Many years of my life have been dedicated to serving my community through non-profit organizations and as an Army spouse. I am the proud mother to two children. I have enjoyed success in early childhood education, entrepreneurial ventures, retail management, and now education. I have earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resource Management from Park University and a Master’s degree, M.S. Ed in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.

I have a passion for organizational management and enjoy looking for ways to ensure that my staff know that they are valued. I believe that every child has the right to an education where they are given every opportunity to achieve success. At the high school level we have the unique opportunity to be the last educators, mentors, and coaches to impact our students as they pursue their dreams. This responsibility should not be taken lightly. I believe that students deserve to understand the expectations that we have for them and that we need to capitalize on all opportunities available to instill quality character traits in our students as they pursue their education. Additionally, I believe that by ensuring students know that they are valued and that we care about their success and achievement that we foster an environment where students will thrive and grow.
