About Mrs. Loomis...

My name is Tina Loomis and I teach 5th grade Science. This  year is my 25th year teaching, and my 11th year at Sandy Valley Elementary. I have previously taught middle school Science for 14 years in Plain Local.

I have been married to my wonderful husband Travis (a SV Grad) for 13  years and we have been blessed with two handsome boys - Tyler who will turn 12 in November and is in 6th grade at SVMS   & Troy who will turn 9 in February and is in 3rd grade at SVE.

As a family we enjoy going to the beach, swimming, biking, traveling, spending time together, being outside and rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Guardians! In the winter time I spend my free time as a OHSAA High School Swim Official in the Canton/Akron area. 

Looking forward to sharing my love of Science with my students.
