Hello! I am Taylor Tessitore - pet mom, Harry Potter nut, and book enthusiast! After finishing my teaching degree at SUNY Plattsburgh in 2017, my books and I made central New York our home with my very soon-to-be husband  and our 2 pets, Sammy and Oscar. When I'm not enjoying the outdoors with our dog, I can usually be found reading books, doing puzzles, watching The Office, or helping out with numerous school activities. If it's football season, I'm happy; the air gets crisp, the leaves turn pretty, and I can be cozy while my hopes of a Cowboys Superbowl are crushed each year!

Although the 2025-26 school year will be my 8th full year as a teacher, and my very first at Sauquoit, I've been "teaching" since I became a tennis camp instructor in tenth grade. From there, the decision to combine that passion for helping others learn with my love of stories into a career was an easy one. My favorite part of being a teacher is ALWAYS the students I get to work with! It brings me such joy to greet students each new day and help them become who they're meant to be, learning as much from them as they do from me in the process.
