Fall Family Fun Day Lead or Co-Lead (FILLED)
Help plan the activities/food (reference)
*Few hours to plan before mid-Sept to the Oct event
Spring Family Event Co-Lead (FILLED)
Organize the potluck and plan activities (reference)
*Few hours beforehand to send out survey and arrange activities before April event
Camping Trip Lead
Lead our 10+ year tradition. Need lead to happen
Ski Trip Lead
Organize families to go skiing. Need lead to happen
Used Uniform Sales Lead or Co-Lead (FILLED)
Throughout the year collect and sell used uniforms
*Help (or recruit volunteers) sell at our major events (ie: Ice Cream Social, Chinese New Year, Family Events) and sort incoming donations. (~30min/mo outside of events you'll be at already)
Scholastic Book Fair Lead or Co-Lead (FILLED)
Help lead a 4 day book sale in Spring 2027 (reference)
*1-2 hours to coordinate with Scholastic for dropoff and pick up of books and gathering volunteers for the sale and then more hours at the actual sale pending volunteer volume
Goodwill Donations Lead or Co-Lead
Coordinate date, marketing & volunteers (reference)
*1 hour beforehand, and pending volunteers - be there day of the event
Room Parents
✅ 2 Volunteers per class to:
Set up and manage a class communication group
Coordinate with teachers on class celebrations (Thanksgiving, Christmas, CNY, etc.)
Organize 2+ optional family gatherings (e.g., park playdates, picnics, nature walks) + class keepsake (ie: photo placemat)
Manage classroom funds and teacher appreciation contributions
⏳ Estimated Time Commitment (2 people per class): ~approx. 15 hours for the year
✅ Multiple volunteers for PO events
Volunteers will assist with prep, setup, cleanup, and/or help for our various events.
We'll put you on our distribution list to ask for volunteers when the need arises.
