Board Member Elections

Board Member elections are held at the second to last PO meeting of the school year.  The term for each board member is one year.

Commitment: Just 1 hour meeting/month, execute on responsibilities below, check your email, and anything else you choose to volunteer for.

Position Descriptions

President

• Leads PO meetings and coordinates officers and committees.

• Serves as the primary contact for school administration and represents the PO externally.

K-8 Vice President

• Supports K‑8 room parents and gathers parent feedback.

• Oversees non-academic classroom and school activities (e.g.: Thanksgiving Potluck).

ECE Vice President

• Supports preschool/TK room parents and gathers parent feedback.

• Oversees non-academic classroom and school activities.

Secretary

• Maintains records and website.

• Prepares meeting notes, surveys, and nomination forms.

Treasurer

• Manages PO funds and maintains financial records.

• Provides financial reports and disburses funds with board approval.

Community Chair

• Leads events and programs to build school community (e.g.: Family Fun events, Camping Trip)

Fundraising Chair (not filled 2026-2027 school year)

• Drive events to raise money for the PO (uniform sales, book fair)

• Lead efforts for additional partnerships, sponsorships
