Call for Volunteers (Room Parents and Event Volunteers)
The Parent Organization (PO) at YCIS-SV includes parents, school leaders, and teachers. When your child joins the school, you automatically become a member. The PO helps make school life better by supporting events and building community connections.
Attend monthly PO meetings to hear updates and contribute ideas.
Contribute money to help fund activities - done through each classroom:
$60 per student to support PO events, teacher gifts, and campus celebrations.
$80 per student to thank all staff.
Volunteer on a team to help run an event or program.

Child’s class / grade group (check with your room parents for link) to stay in touch with Room Parents and other families.
PO Leadership
PO Leadership includes members of School Administration and eight or more parents (“the PO Board”). The PO Board members are nominated and elected each spring. Here are the current members of the PO Board.
Volunteer Teams
Each YCIS family participates in a Team that runs one of the PO’s programs or events, led by PO Leadership. Team rosters and information are distributed in August. The Teams are:
