Students are eligible to sign up for both in-person and online summer school simultaneously.
In-person summer school:
(does not offer classes for Fine Arts, CTE, PE, or heath)
Classes will be held in person at Sunnyside High School for students who want to recover credits or get ahead. All DVHS, SSHS and STAR students are welcome to attend. Students can only pick one class to attend per session. There will be a fee for Summer School. $80 per credit recovery class - $160 per credit advancement class.
Session 1 (reserved for semester 1-only classes): Tuesday, May 27- Monday, June 9
Session 2 (reserved for semester 2-only classes): Tuesday, June 10 - Monday, June 23
MONDAY - FRIDAY: 7:30AM - 2:30PM | LUNES - VIERNES: 7:30AM - 2:30PM

Online summer school:
(offers all core subject classes, and also elective classes)
Classes are held virtually through the Sunnyside Online Success Academy (SOSA). Students can only sign up for one class at a time. Students have 24/7 access to their course as long as they have a laptop and Wi-Fi. Summer online classes are $35
The opening date is 5/27. No extensions can be made past 6/30.
