I am a New Yorker turned Texan after receiving my bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland’s School of Public Health in psychology and family science. Moving to DFW, I found myself working in TMS therapy in psychiatric offices as part of a whole treatment team using a comprehensive care approach. My passion for helping others and love for learning motivated my continual studies to pursue a master’s degree. I received my social work master’s degree from the University of Texas where I got to intern at an inpatient psychiatric hospital in their military unit and at Title 1 schools providing case management with Americorps. Post grad, I have been working as a telehealth trauma therapist with Mental Pain and Trauma Center and Mindful Therapy Group.
Outside of the office, I am a wife and stepmom controlling the chaos two rescue dogs bring to my household, trying to snag some peace and quiet with a cup of coffee and a good book. I’ve spent years volunteering in therapeutic riding having grown up as a hunter jumper and hope one day my career will bring me back to equine therapy. When others talk about me, I do not want them to label my success by my achievements or job but by the number of lives I touch
