Harris Center: more from the Harris Center
The Harris Center is producing a series of very short video series called Wild at Home. Each of the videos, no more than 1minute and 30 seconds long, features a common easily found and seen wild creature or plant. The narration is simple and encourages people of all ages to be curious about the animal or plant.

And here are a few ideas and websites to help further enrich your students' time exploring ladybugs:
Count Your Ladybugs: How many living ladybugs can you find in your home? Where are you finding them in your home and what are they doing?
Ladybug Upclose: Capture a ladybug in a jar and do a close up observation of the bug. How many spots does it have? Draw your ladybug including as much detail as you can. Let the Ladybug go after you've drawn it.
Ladybug Story: Write a story about the adventures a ladybug has in your home. What dangers does it face? How does it survive? Who are its friends? Where does it go?
