Southwark can sometimes have a terrible reputation but there are positives too.

One of these positives is Burgess Park which is one of the many parks in Southwark. Burgess Park is right next to Albany Road. It is freely accessible to the public.

Burgess Park is sited to the north of Camberwell. It is a popular but comparatively new park created from bomb damaged streets.

Southwark has invested millions of pounds to put more green spaces so everyone can enjoy their life. It has loads of green spaces, and Burgess Park has a nice cafe to go to, it even has a baby park and they can play in sand. They have a Bmx track next to it.It used to be a go cart place.

Tj, aged 10 says, "I like the big slide, zipliner and the football pitch, the bmx track, and the cafe."
