Currently, she serves a charter school system advising 20+ schools on laws and policies that impact students’ and families’ educational experiences. She is intentional about engaging student and family voice, emphasizing internal accountability, and policy innovation. Throughout her career, Ashley’s mission has remained steadfast: to confront systemic inequities and ensure that legal and policy frameworks protect and empower the communities they are meant to serve.
