Each performance invites us to revel in joy, connection, and the power of our collective stories.
Meet our three entertainers below! (In order of appearance.)
DJ Kim E Fresh
An Arizona native, DJ Kim E Fresh has quickly become one of the most prominent female DJs in the Phoenix area. Featured in The Arizona Republic as one of the top club DJs in metro Phoenix, Kim E Fresh is known for her upbeat and eclectic sets which glide from funk and disco, to hip-hop, house, rock, and reggae. This fusion, combined with her energetic stage presence, has made her sought after by a wide range of clients. From grand openings to club events, she easily adapts to the needs of her audience. Kim E Fresh can be found around the valley playing to many of Arizona's best venues, private parties, and corporate events.
Yellow Bird
International-renowned Yellow Bird Productions, under the direction of Ken Duncan, a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe, specializes in cultural presentations that celebrate the unique spirit of the American Indian. For the past 30 years, Yellow Bird has curated a unique repertoire of songs, dances, stories, and dialogue that entertain and educate audiences of all ages. Yellow Bird is a professional family dance company based in Phoenix, Arizona. The group boasts many national dance champions and has been featured performers for many prestigious audiences and institutions.
Mariachi Pasión
Mariachi Pasion was formed in April 2002. The group itself started in a music class at Arizona State University. On a whim and with a whole lot of “GANAS”, eight girls thought it would be fun to play for a close relative… the rest is “HERSTORY”! The group has grown into a fifteen-member group, with the majority of musicians having worked their way through their education playing mariachi music! The group has musicians who are educators, insurance agents, financial managers, health care professionals, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, accountants, and engineers. There are also several musicians currently working their way through Arizona State University. The heart of Mariachi Pasion is the group chemistry and the common love and respect for Mariachi music.
