As a part of your Senior Project work in each grade, you will build a resume from your experiences in school as well as your Spartan Community Service. By the end of your senior year, you will have a complete, professional resume that will display all of your relevant high school experiences along with your community service and other relevant skills. This resume will be of excellent quality, one that can and should be used to apply for entry-level career jobs and/or higher education.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW AND DO:
Use can use Xello to keep track of everything you do - you can add your Community Service and other experiences. Make sure to complete the form in Xello with as much detail and information as possible! Xello will 'keep' all of this information for you so you don't risk forgetting or loosing important details! You can keep track of your information in other ways as well, but just make sure you don't forget where!
Document community members you can potentially use as a reference. These might be supervisors at your job, in your Spartan Community Service, or other organiations and activities you are a part of.
Verify they agree to be listed as a reference.
Include Name, Job Title, Contact Information (phone number, email, etc.)
Update Xello after each experience or at the end of each school year - keep track of details for each of your experiences!
11th Grade: Submit a draft of your resume to Ms. Knoll via Google Classroom
12th Grade: Submit final resume to Ms. Knoll via Google Classroom

There are MANY free template available for you to use to create your Resume. You can choose any that you like, but you must use a template!
The template will ensure that your resume is formatted in a professional manner and that you include all relevant information.
Make the template work for you! Copy and paste if you need more of a section or item or delete things you don't need. By copying and pasting, you will maintain the formatting of the template!
