Second Grade

The second grade program will focus on technology operations and concepts with an introduction to multimedia creation. Students will continue to develop skills previously introduced in keyboarding, technology operations, publishing, computer science, and digital citizenship. Students will be expected to begin employing proper technique and ergonomic principles in keyboarding while improving their speed and accuracy. All students will demonstrate compliance and understanding of the Sunrise R-IX Acceptable Use Policy and learn to employ online etiquette and safe internet practices.
