First Grade

The first grade program will focus on technology operations and concepts. Students will demonstrate correct use of word processing terminology, create documents, and manipulate common features of word processing softwares (e.g., fonts, color, highlight, and size, etc.) and control functions (e.g., copy, paste, etc.). Students will continue to develop skills previously introduced in keyboarding, technology operations, publishing, computer science, and digital citizenship. All students will demonstrate compliance and understanding of the Sunrise R-IX Acceptable Use Policy and learn to employ online etiquette and safe internet practices.
