20+ Ways to Use AI in Edu

We have been learning a lot about what AI is and how it works on a basic level, but let's dig into some ways YOU might be able to use it as an educator. The slide deck below was created and shared with SPASD from Google. Because we are a Google Workspace district we have some level of protection from information we enter using our district accounts being used to train the bigger AI model. While we allow educators to try out a variety of AI tools, if you're looking for a go-to, we suggest using Googe Gemini as your AI website. As we move further into this training, you will also see we have access to an extension that will be embedded within our Google Workspace and websites. Please log into Gemini with your school account (if you'd like), click through the slides below, try out the examples, and discuss with your colleagues some of your findings around the 20+ ways to use Gemini in education. Some of the demonstrations in the slides use the premium version of Gemini that is embedded within the Google Workspace. We do not have access to that version, but all prompts can be used at gemini.google.com.
