*Starting in 2024-2025 school year, all incoming 9th graders are required to take Computer Science Elective
Students must complete three (3) credits in an elective focus.
All students will pursue a focused program of study designed to prepare them for the workforce and postsecondary study.
The intent of the elective focus is to provide students with an opportunity to explore an academic area in greater depth.
The elective focus may be CTE, science and math, humanities, fine arts, AP, or other areas approved by the local board of education.
90 - 100 = A
80-89 = B
70 -79 = C
60 - 69 =D
59 - 0 = F
Honors Courses - 3 Percentage points are added to the student's final grade before EOC
included
Dual Credit - 5 Percentage points are added to the student's final grade
Capstone Industry Certification-Aligned Courses - 4 Percentage points are added to the
student's final grade
AP Courses - 5 Percentage points are added to the student's final grade if the student sits
for the exam
DE Courses - 5 Percentage points are added to the student's final grade
The High School and Beyond Plan is a plan that is updated yearly between the student and their school counselor at their registration meeting in the Spring Semester.
