Students who score at or above all subject area readiness benchmakrs on the ACT or equivalent score of the SAT

Students shall be recognized as graduating with 'district distinction" if they have:
Met the graduation requirements for their diploma type,
Obtained an overall GPA of at least 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and
Earned an industry credential promoted by the Tennessee Department of Education
The industry 4.0 Diploma Distinction was developed for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in a high-need, high-skill industry after graduation. Students who earn the Industry 4.0 Diploma Distinction will be more prepared gto seamlessly transition into the workforce.
Requirements:
Earn at least 9 credits of dual enrollment and/or work-base learning;
Meet no less than once per month with a career coach during junior and senior years; AND
Successfully complete all coursework required for graduation.
Students who:
Earn a 19 (nineteen) or higher on the ACT, or an equivalent score on the SAT and
Earns a Capstone Industry Credential promoted by the Tennessee Department of Education
Student who attains a "B" average and completes one of the following:
Earn and industry credential promoted by the Tennessee Department of Education;
Participate in at least one (1) of the Governor's Schools;
Participate in one (1) of the state's All State musical organizations;
Earned statewide recognition or award at a skill or knowledge based state tournament, convention, or competition hosted by a statewide student organization, and/or qualify for national recognition by a national student organization;
Be selected as a National Merit Finalist or Semifinalist;
Attain a score of 31 or higher composite score on the ACT or SAT equivalent;
Attain a score of 3 or higher on at least two AP exams;
Successfully complete the IB program;
Earn 12 or more semester hours of postsecondary credit.
Complete all English Language Arts requirements with an overall 3.0 or higher in those classes;
Demonstrate English Proficiency through one (1) of the following:
Score on track or mastered on each ELA EOC assessment OR
Score 3+ on AP Language or AP Literature exam OR
Score 22 ACT Reading OR
Score at least 4.5 on WIDA, AND
Score 3+ on an Advanced Placement world language exam or demonstrate proficiency in a world language through one of the approved assessments or interviews outlined in the TN State Board of Education High School Policy 2.103 p. 10.
Students who voluntarily complete at least ten (10) hours of community service each semester the student is in attendance at a public high school shall be recognized at their graduation ceremony. The total complete should be 80 plus hours by time you graduate from high school.
80 hours of community service,
Meet specific academic requirement with no less than a "C" in coures,
No out of school suspensions, and
95% attendance (no more than 9 days missed per year).
