Get to Know Nicole

Nicole is a homeschool mom to two busy and curious kids. She lives in the rural Edmonton area and has been a part of the homeschooling community since the beginning of her children's school experience.

With a Bachelors of Elementary Education from the University of Alberta and over seven years of classroom teaching experience with Calgary Catholic Schools, she eventually found her heart in child-led unschooling approaches that nurture curiosity, and creativity.

 She loves the flexibility homeschooling can offer-not just in how days are structured, but in how it creates space for real connection. Her favorite part of homeschooling is watching relationships grow between siblings, parents and children, and among other homeschooling families.

She enjoys spending her time outdoors with her family, and watching her children grow in their current passions of dance and hockey.
