Humanities: Humanities examines the development of Western Culture. Units include The Ancient World, Greek Classicism & Rome, The Middle Ages, and The Renaissance & Beyond. Representative examples of art, architecture, philosophy, music, drama, dance, film, photography, history, criticism, ethics, literature and law are examined. This interdisciplinary exploration of Western Culture provides students with many opportunities for speaking, thinking, viewing, interpreting, writing, researching and understanding.
Our class will utilize Google Classroom for all announcements, classwork, and homework assignments. Students can use this platform to see our weekly calendar, catch up on work they missed while absent, or access copies of handouts.
