AP English Language & Composition: AP English Language and Composition is a college-level course focused on reading, writing, and understanding how authors use language and rhetorical strategies to communicate effectively. Students will explore a wide range of nonfiction, fiction, plays, and visual texts while developing their skills in analysis, argument, synthesis, and research through both formal and informal writing. Through discussion, close reading, speeches, and frequent writing practice, students will become stronger critical thinkers and communicators while preparing for the AP English Language and Composition Exam on May 12, 2027.
Our class will utilize Google Classroom for all announcements, classwork, and homework assignments. Students can use this platform to see our weekly calendar, catch up on work they missed while absent, or access copies of handouts.
