Welcome to Learning Workshop

The purpose of the Learning Workshop program is to provide students with the additional support needed to improve targeted, basic skills in language arts and/or math. This program provides small group experiences, which include in-class support or supplemental classes, offered by a certified instructor in collaboration with the regular classroom teacher.

Meet the Teacher

My name is Jessica O'Connor and I am so excited to be your reading teacher this year. I recently completed my Masters in Reading and am a certified Orton-Gillingham Instructor. This is my 7th year teaching at Washington School and I am sure you will love it as much as I do!

A little bit about me: I have a husband (Darren), two cats (Phoebe and Samuel), and love to spend my time drinking tea, watching Netflix, and walking around HomeGoods.
