Students are assessed in reading and math every June. Based on their end of year reading and math scores at that time, as well as teacher input on student performance, students who are performing below grade level are invited to the program for the following school year.
Students are allowed to be pulled from one social studies, one science, one Spanish, and one word study class. Other flexible times like a handwriting or read aloud time, are also places where a child may be pulled.
Your student will be provided with all the necessary supplies for Learning Workshop. There is no need to purchase anything additional.
