FLASH 2025 Student Worker Positions
All sophomore, junior, and senior students interested in applying for a position at the Flash Summer Program must submit an application by filling out the FLASH 2025 Student Worker Application. The timeline for completing an application is from Monday, February 17th - Friday, February 28th. Please review this website and familiarize yourself with the program before applying.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Please note that only volunteer positions are available for current Sophomore students. Paid positions are available for current junior, senior, or college students. No resume or teacher recommendation is required. Applicants who make it through the screening process will be contacted for an interview.
Applicants must be:
available for the entire program: Hours are 8:00am-12:30pm. Student Orientation is on Thursday 6/19 and then Monday through Friday, from Monday, June 23rd - Friday, July 11th. No exceptions will be made.
capable of working well with younger kids by being fun and energetic, demonstrating patience, and facilitating positive interactions in a supportive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
able to bring specific experience/skills/attributes that help the teacher run the class.
proactive, flexible, and capable of adapting to changing circumstances.
prepared to not use smart phones or any other devices that present a distraction (e.g. smart watches, air pods, etc.)
