Career and Technical Education

General Information: Career-Technical Education courses are designed to include efforts that are measurable and ambitious. Our belief is that all students can achieve academically and be prepared appropriately for success at the postsecondary level and in their chosen careers. All courses include activities to offer students hands-on experience as they learn specific skills. Courses also include an opportunity for club participation and can lead to competition at regional, state, and national levels. Central High School has a strong history of bringing home multiple awards from a variety of competitive events. Students completing a CTE focus must complete the minimum of three units in the same program area.
