ROTC 1 Naval Science

The purpose of the NJROTC program is to instill students with the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment.

ROTC 2 Naval Science

Prerequisite: ROTC 1

This course expands on the knowledge learning in ROTC 1 and introduces students to the basic principals and theories of leadership.

ROTC 3 Naval Science

Prerequisite: ROTC 1 & 2

This course portrays a coastal nation's ability to use the oceans for trade, commerce, scientific study, industry and national defense.

ROTC Naval Science 4

Prerequisite: ROTC 1, 2, & 3

Cadets continue to increase their knowledge of navel history, navigation, seamanship, meteorology, astronomy, and military drill.

ROTC Navel Science 5

Prerequisite: Teacher approval or recommendation

Cadets will learn and practice advanced forms of drill, color guard, Naval knowledge, air rifle and orienteering.

ROTC Naval Science "Leadership" (10th -12th / Yearlong Only)

Prerequisite: Teacher approval or recommendation

The purpose of this class is to learn techniques for managing yourself and leading others, how to build more effective teams and ethics discussions.
