Bass

The string bass is the largest, lowest sounding bowed string instrument. It can also be called a double bass, or acoustic bass. It has 4 strings. The string bass can be played by plucking the strings or using a bow. It is played standing up or sitting on a stool. The string bass reads bass clef music.
