Percussion

The percussion section includes lots of different kinds of instruments like drums (snare drum, bass drum, and timpani are just a few!), xylophones, marimbas, cymbals, hand percussion, and special effects instruments.  Suffern Central 4th graders always start with the bells (glockenspiel), then begin to play other percussion instruments toward the end of 4th grade.
