We are really excited to announce that on Friday 20th September the children will be taking part in a Sponsored Fun Run during the school day to raise money for the playground revamp.

This event was requested by the Student Council at the start of the Autumn 2023, they expressed that lots of the children were really keen to take part in a sponsored run to help raise money for their School.


The PTA are thrilled to be working with Coach Brown for this event.  The distances for runners will be split into 3 groups: 



The run will be for all abilities, the children will be supported by staff and the PTA throughout the run and the aim will be to finish, even if you walk.  It isn't about the fastest time, it's about working as a team to get the distances covered and raise money for our school.  Please encourage your children and reassure them that this event will be really fun!  


On the day of the Fun Run we ask that all children wear their PE kits and come to school with their water bottles. 


As mentioned at the end of last term, we have high fundraising targets this year, so would really appreciate your support in helping your child/children to gain sponsorship from family, friends and the local community.  Click here to see our fundraising goals this year. 


There will be two ways to collect sponsorships, online or a cash sponsorship form.  Sponsorship Forms will be distributed to your child on Friday 6th September, please can you arrange for completed forms to be placed in a sealed and clearly labelled envelope with the correct money and returned to class Teachers on Monday 23rd September 2024.  Additional sponsorship forms can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.


Alternatively, please follow the instructions below to set up your own JustGiving sponsorship page for your child to gather online sponsors - N.B You only need one page per family but you can have one for each child, this will require you to complete this process again for each child.

Click here to log in, or create a JustGiving account, you will automatically be link to the St Vincent's fundraising page (if you have ever used justgiving to donate or fundraise you will already have an account which will need to log into).

Once logged in you will be directed straight to the fundraising target page which you can set to any amount or leave blank.

Add a photo, create your own message to sponsors or create your own personalised URL - have some fun!

WELCOME BBQ


After school, we will be hosting a Welcome BBQ in the KS2 Playground from 3:45pm to celebrate the children’s achievements and to get together, welcome new families to our School and welcome each other back after the summer.  This will be a relaxed event with food, drinks and music, it will be a great opportunity to meet and catch up while supporting our School by raising some much needed funds.


For this event we will be offering reduced ticket pricing, £4 for adults & £2 for children tickets, with both options INCLUDING a meal.
