The Fun Run is back but this year we have shaken things up and will be launching a fresh and fun team event for the children!!  FUN RUN - OBSTACLE DASH!!!!


The Sponsored event takes place on Friday 25th September!  The children will be completing the course as a Class Team where they will need to smash through 10 exciting, hilarious and FUN obstacles by working together!!  No comrade gets left behind...they start together and finish together! 


For the first time ever we will be giving a prize to the fastest team to complete the course & to the Family who raise the highest amount of sponsorship money!!!


The PTA are thrilled to be working with Coach Brown for this event.  The event will as always take place over on the field at Wasps during the School day - it is for the children only - Parents will be able to catch the highlights filmed by the PTA & Volunteers.


The Fun Run: Obstacle Dash will be covering the following distances:


The event will be for all abilities, the children will be supported by staff and the PTA throughout and the aim will be to finish and have fun with your class.  We have seen over the past two years how the children really pull together and support each other during this event so centring it around the class/team aspect will compliment the experience for them and also keep it fresh!!


On the day of the Fun Run we ask that all children wear their PE kits and come to school with their water bottles, a hat & wearing suncream.

There will be two ways to collect sponsorships, online or a cash sponsorship form.  Sponsorship Forms will be distributed to your child on Monday 7th September, please can you arrange for completed forms to be placed in a sealed and clearly labelled envelope with the correct money and returned to class Teachers on Friday 2nd October.  Additional sponsorship forms can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.


Alternatively, please follow the instructions below to set up your own JustGiving sponsorship page for your child to gather online sponsors - N.B You only need one page per family but you can have one for each child, this will require you to complete this process again for each child.

Step 3:

WELCOME BBQ & Fun Run Celebrations


On Friday 25th September we will be hosting a BBQ style event in the KS2 Playground from 3:30pm to celebrate the children’s Fun Run achievements, to get together, welcome new families to our School and welcome each other back after the summer.

This will be a relaxed event with food, drinks and music.  For this event we will be offering reduced ticket pricing, £4 for adults & £2 for children tickets, with both options INCLUDING a meal.

Please note tickets MUST be purchased in advance.  This is a Ticket ONLY event.  Sales close on Monday 22nd Sept at 1PM
