Our officer team, along with other members, hosted a farm safety day for the 4th and 5th grade classes. They covered topics such as tractor safety, ATV awareness, and animal handling.
In October, we had 8 chapter members attend National Convention in Indianapolis. They attended general sessions, went on career tours, and enjoyed many excursions throughout the city!
In early October, we had Jagger Ferrie, the NC State Vice President, and Emilee Kelly, an NC district officer, visit our chapter for the day to teach us more about careers, FFA opportunities, and have a little fun!
This year during the harvest in State Center, our chapter promoted a harvest meal for farmers. We purchased, prepared, packaged and delivered meals to over 100 farmers in our local and surrounding communities.
Fifteen first year students traveled to Ellsworth Community College to take part in the North Central District event. Students learned from past and present district and state officers more about the inner workings of FFA.
The first Friday back at school for the year we hosted our Annual Back to School BBQ for students, families, and alumni! We held it at the community building and hosted a bag tournament after dinner.
April 14 - 15, we had Chapter Website compete at state. Members serve as Delegates and Courtesy Corps. We also had a poultry judging team, a chapter display team, and two individuals compete at the Greenhand quiz.
On March 28, we held our annual banquet! We gave our yearly awards and announced our nearly elected Officer Team!
On March 4, we hosted a meal packaging event at the high school. Every student in the high school packaged 29,000 meals for children in Iowa and surrounding areas. Thanks to Farm Credit Services of Marshalltown for helping sponsor this event.
On March 1, we sent Ag Broadcasting, Chapter Website, Experience the Action, and Extemporaneous Speaking. Elley also performed her last duties as a District Officer.
On February 10, we sent Ag Broadcasting, Conduct of Meetings, Creed, Extemporaneous Speaking, Job Interview, and Public Speaking to sub-districts.
Legislative Symposium 2025
On January 22, 6 members attended the Legislative Symposium held at the state level. They toured the State Capitol Building. They met Senator Kara Warme.
On December 18, FFA Members packaged meals for the Food Pantry at St. Joesph Church in State Center.
October 22 - 25
We had 9 members attend the National FFA Convention. They visited an exotic cat farm, apple orchard, and goat dairy farm. They attended a Dinner Theater, FFA Rodeo, and Hypnotist show. They spent the last day in the convention hall attending sessions, a career show, shopping, and meeting other FFA Members.
On October 17, our chapter delivered meals to farmers in our community to say thank you for what they have done for our world.
On September 25 we had 27 freshmen members attend Greenhand Fire up. 11 members participated in Soil Evaluation.
On August 27, we had our Annual Back to School BBQ to celebrate the new school year with grilling and games.

On July 10, to kick off the county fair our chapter hosted the Alumni Annual Ice Cream Social! We would like to give a shout to Jeni Thompson, Jaia Fischer, and Lisa Peterson for all their hard work.
On June 3, our officers attened a Leadership Training at Ellsworth College. Elley Walker, a District Officer, lead some of the talking sessions.
On May 8, the school recognized our contestants at the State Convention.
In early May, a few members join the kindergarten class on their field trip to help out at Dusty Hill!
In late April, a few members got to the elementary to discuss safety in agriculture.
On May 5 we held our Chapter Banquet!

At State this year Ag CSI 1, Ag CSI 2, Ag Impact 1, Ag Impact 2, Conduct of Meetings, Experience the Action, Job Interview, & Parliament Procedures compete.
We had 19 members earn their Iowa Degrees.
We had members serve as committees, Delegates, and Courtesy Corps.
We had a graduated member, Ciera Randall, compete in the Ag Discussion Meeting.
We also had Noah DeSotel, Cash Johnston, Kinleigh Kriegel, and Elley Walker compete in Ag Sales Team.
