Corruption Watch is a non-proft organisation launched in January 2012 , and is an accredited chapter of Transparency International. The organisation conducts its work through communication, investigation, research, and mobilisation.

Corruption Watch stresses the importance of each South African knowing their rights, particularly when it comes to confronting corruption. The Veza Tool is an online, open data platform developed by Corruption Watch with the goal of improving transparency and accountability in the South African Police Service (SAPS). This is an innovative solution which seeks to address the culture of corruption in the SAPS, whcih often allows police officers to abuse their power.
