Newton Dragon Project

Overview - Each student will construct a rubber band powered vehicle. Each student is to complete his or her project according the design requirements and due dates.

Purpose - To construct a vehicle that travels at least 20 feet using the potential energy stored in the rubber bands as the only means of propulsion and apply the concepts learned during the unit.

You will build your Newton Dragon at home and bring it to class by the due date. The axle, made from a coat hanger, will be built at school during science class. There will be building days available after school for students to work on their project. Check with Mrs. Parker to see when these days are scheduled.
