I am an 8th grade science teacher at Barwise Middle School. I also spend part of my day instructing the Wichita Falls HS color guard. I was born and raised in Wichita Falls attending Midwestern State University and earning my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Science. While being a mother and wife is my biggest pride, science is my passion. My goal every day is to find ways to engage young people in science. I'm very interested in using technology as an avenue of engagement and enthusiastic to constantly develop and improve my craft of teaching. Every day there are lessons to be learned, while of course perpetually seeking ways to impart my passion for science to my students.
